Storyboard 1

Shot 1

This VHS effect ran through the whole video, this was used to cut up clips and to keep a running theme throughout. It was also used to switch between modern and old tecnology where one clip would be in HD the other would be grainy making the music video have more of a variety.

Shot 2

This then Cut into our first establishing shot. this is used to set the scene for the video. We used natural light to create high contrast so the artist stood out since this was an establishing shot.

Shot 3

This shot was where XAK is in in studio dancing and singing along to his song and the camera tracks towards him. This scene repeated throughout the video with different effects. 

Shot 4 

This shot was a medium close up of XAK singing and dancing in his studio this clip was changed with lots of different accts such as...

Line Drawing

This effected was used quite a lot throughout the video and was a running theme. This was added to create a more playful tone to the video matching the audio. This was inspired by the director Cole Bennet .

Vortex transition

This transition was used once, as Xak moves his hand up it look as if he's holding an object, So this was perfect to make it look like he was holding a sort of vortex to transition to the next clip

 Black and white strobe light effect

Used this effect once for when we reversed a clip of XAK dancing

Shot 5

This shot took place using 2 cars. 1 was for XAK to hang out of the window to sing along to his song whereas the other car was for us filmers to film out off this allowed us to track XAK in the car easily and smoother allowing us to keep on the same pace as them. This shot is a Tracking shot as we follow him in the car 

Shot 6

For this shot we also changed the colour of the background later on in the video as seen below. This wide shot was used for around 1 minute though out the video. This shot was used quite alot as it relates back to materialistic genre we were focusing on, this is shown in our moodboard.

This medium close up was filmed in XAKs house. The clip with the LED lights was only used at the end for around 10 seconds this was because the LED lights gave the camera a more grainy look and this isn't what we wanted to achieve.
